An Axminster White Model 010061 Micro Mill, manufactured in 2004 by Axminster Power Tool Centre, Devon. This desktop micro milling machine is constructed with a cast iron bed and column, steel ways, and painted metal and plastic components. The unit features a vertical milling head mounted on a column, situated above a two-axis (X and Y) milling table with three longitudinal T-slots for securing workpieces. It is equipped with a variable speed 150W DC motor, providing a speed range of 100 to 4500 rpm. The control interface includes an emergency stop button, a variable speed control dial, and a forward/reverse toggle switch. A drill chuck is currently fitted to the spindle. The machine is supplied with its original instruction manual and a spare glass fuse in a plastic bag.

Identification plates are present on the main housing and motor. The main label is transcribed as AXMINSTER POWER TOOL CENTRE, Model No: 010061, Micro Mill, Axminster, Devon, 2004, and features the red and black Axminster White logo. The motor plate specifies Power Input: 230V a.c. 50Hz, Motor: 150W d.c., and Motor RPM: 100-4500 rpm. A CE mark is present on the control panel and motor plate.


Condition report:

The machine is in good used condition showing signs of age and storage. There is visible surface oxidation and light pitting on the unpainted cast iron table surface and the steel vertical ways. The painted surfaces remain largely intact with minor wear. The machine appears complete with original documentation. All handwheels and mechanical adjustments appear to move freely, however, the electrical function and motor operation are untested.
