Two vintage bicycles manufactured by Raleigh of Nottingham, England, both finished in a metallic purple paint. The first bicycle is a Raleigh Twenty model, characterised by its step-through frame, white vinyl saddle, and rear luggage carrier. The second bicycle features a standard diamond-pattern frame with a black saddle. Both examples are constructed with steel frames and include chrome-plated mudguards and handlebars. The frames are decorated with original decals, including the manufacturer name and the number 20 on the folding-style model. A head tube badge is visible on the step-through frame, inscribed with The Raleigh Nottingham England around a central heron crest.
Condition report:
Both bicycles are in an unrestored condition, showing significant accumulated dust and surface grime. The chrome-plated surfaces, including the mudguards, rims, and handlebars, exhibit widespread surface oxidation and pitting consistent with age and storage. The paintwork and decals show age-related wear, scuffing, and areas of loss. The vinyl saddles demonstrate some discolouration and wear. Mechanical components and tyre condition have not been tested.
