This collection consists of six circular porcelain lidded music boxes from the M.I. Hummel Music Box Collection, produced by The Danbury Mint under licence from Goebel. Each box features a transfer-printed illustration on the lid based on the original artwork of Sister Maria Innocentia Hummel, depicting children in various pastoral settings. The sides of each vessel are decorated with a continuous landscape scene, and the rims of the lids and bases are finished with gilded edges. The interiors are lined with green felt and house a mechanical music box movement with a brass-coloured metal winding key. The collection includes the following titles: Little Fiddler, Merry Wanderer, Apple Tree Boy, Feeding Time, Umbrella Girl, and Apple Tree Girl. The underside of each box bears a printed backstamp with the specific title, edition details noting an edition of 90 firing days, an individual music box number, and a 1993 copyright date for ARS AG, Zug, Switzerland.

Condition report:
The music boxes appear to be in good overall condition. No chips, cracks, or repairs are visible to the porcelain components. The gilded decoration appears largely intact. One lid features a small, temporary adhesive identification sticker. The mechanical winding keys and internal mechanisms appear present and undamaged.
