This collection comprises nine hand-painted miniature sculptures manufactured by Lilliput Lane in Cumbria, England. The group features a variety of traditional architectural styles, including timber-framed, stone, and thatched-roof cottages, each positioned on a detailed landscaped base. Included in the lot are the models Petticoat Cottage and Many Happy Returns, the latter identified by model number L3122. The figurines are crafted from Amorphite, which is a refined gypsum-based material. The Many Happy Returns sculpture is accompanied by its original cardboard box. Associated paperwork includes a Lilliput Lane Collectors Club Certificate of Authenticity for Petticoat Cottage for the years 1994 to 1995, as well as a Deeds certificate from the same collectors club. Markings on the box and certificates include the Lilliput Lane logo and the statement that the items were handmade in England.
Condition report:
The collection is in overall good condition. Due to the delicate nature of the materials used, there may be some very minor chips or small losses to the finely detailed foliage and floral elements upon close inspection. The original cardboard packaging shows light signs of shelf wear.
