The items show signs of age and use throughout. The Japanese lacquer box exhibits surface scuffing, scratches, and minor lacquer loss and chipping along the edges. The burl walnut box displays surface wear consistent with age. The miniature parquetry chest is in generally good condition with minor age-related wear. The remaining boxes show standard surface scratches and minor abrasions.
