Buyer's Premium:

A collection of decorative porcelain collector plates from two distinct series, primarily distributed by the Bradford Exchange.

The first group belongs to a Russian series titled Russian Fairy Tales (Русские сказки), produced by Vinogradov Porcelain in the USSR for export. These plates are crafted from hard porcelain and feature a black ground decorated with polychrome transfer-printed central narrative scenes. The borders are finished with intricate gilded scrolling patterns. One identified plate in this collection is titled The Princess and the Seven Bogatyrs (Царевна и семь богатырей), featuring artwork attributed to master artist Alexander Ivanovich Kovalev. This specific plate is numbered N 461 and is accompanied by its original certificate of authenticity and descriptive literature.

The second group is the Idyllisches Dorfleben (Idyllic Village Life) series. These porcelain plates feature full-rim polychrome transfer-printed scenes depicting traditional European rural and village landscapes, including architecture such as watermills and cottages. These items are housed in their original protective cardboard storage sleeves and mailing boxes bearing the series title and Bradford Exchange labels.

Condition report:

The collection appears to be in good, unused condition, retained within the original cardboard packaging. Some items include original certificates of authenticity and informational inserts. The plates have not been individually removed from all packaging for inspection, but visible surfaces show no chips, cracks, or significant wear to the gilded borders or transfer decorations.
