A collection of Poole Pottery glazed earthenware oven-to-table ware in the Summer Glory pattern. The decoration consists of transfer-printed botanical motifs including wildflowers, grasses, and seed heads in shades of brown, ochre, orange, and pale blue on a cream-coloured ground. The set includes a large circular lidded tureen, a gravy boat with an oval stand, dinner plates, side plates, cereal bowls, and teacups with matching saucers. The bases are marked with a printed factory stamp featuring a stylised dolphin, Poole England, the pattern name, and dishwasher and ovenproof text.
Condition report:
The service is in good used condition throughout. No significant chips, cracks, or visible repairs are evident. Some pieces exhibit light surface scratches and utensil marks consistent with age and domestic use.
