The Victorian sampler shows significant age-related fading to the threads and uniform light discoloration to the linen ground. The lace fragments are generally in fair to good condition for their age, exhibiting typical ivory age-toning and some minor fraying to the edges. The wooden spool stand and tools show minor surface wear and small marks consistent with age and use.
