A collection of framed artworks comprising various media, primarily depicting landscape and architectural scenes. The group includes a watercolour on paper of a lakeside landscape with a small wooden boat, signed Elise Wright in the lower right. An oil painting on board or canvas depicts a building by a body of water, signed J. Sinclair in the lower right, and is housed in a wide, textured silver-toned frame with a white inner slip. A pen and ink wash drawing on paper shows a village street scene, inscribed RONDA and dated ’74 with a stylized signature to the lower right. A fourth artwork, appearing to be a watercolour or print of a building, is signed Derval and bears an inscription in the lower margin that reads Barbizon – Atelier de JF Millet. The artworks are presented in various wooden and gold-toned frames, most with protective glass and card mounts.
Condition report:
The collection is in generally good condition. Some light discoloration and minor foxing are visible on the paper mounts. The frames show light surface wear, minor scuffs, and age-related marks. Reflections are visible on the glass of several pieces.
