A portable steel mechanic’s tool chest by Dynamic, finished in red enamel with a top-opening lid and three sliding drawers. The chest contains an assortment of hand tools housed in moulded plastic inserts. The top compartment includes a comprehensive socket and bit set featuring 1/4 inch, 3/8 inch, and 1/2 inch drive ratchets, extension bars, and assorted driver bits including Phillips, slotted, Torx, and hex. The middle drawer contains various combination spanners with markings for Palmera Spain, Draper Tools, and Chrome Vanadium in both metric and SAE sizes, alongside a set of SAE hex keys in a red plastic holder. The lower drawers feature a set of screwdrivers with red and black composite handles, diagonal cutters, and long-nose pliers. The bottom drawer contains a miscellaneous assortment of loose tools, including large impact sockets, extensions, a bit box by HR, and a yellow plastic bag from Johnstones.
Condition report:
The tools and chest are in used condition, showing signs of regular wear including workshop grime, grease, and light surface oxidation on certain pieces, notably the pliers. The red enamel finish on the chest shows surface scratches and minor paint loss. A small white adhesive label is present on the lid. The set appears partially complete within the moulded trays, with several vacant slots noted. Drawer slides are functional. Sold as seen.
