This collection comprises several porcelain decorative plates, many of which are retained within their original cardboard protective sleeves and boxes. A notable portion of the group consists of plates from the Seltmann Weiden Idyllisches Dorfleben (Idyllic Village Life) series, designed by artist Christian Lückel. These plates depict pastoral European village scenes featuring rustic architecture and figures in traditional dress, executed in a romanticised style. Also included are two plates decorated in the manner of Russian lacquer miniatures, characteristic of the Palekh or Kholuy traditions. These feature vibrant fairytale illustrations against a black ground with intricate gold-toned foliate borders; one depicts a dynamic scene of riders on horseback, while the other illustrates a courtyard setting. An informational document or certificate bearing the number 002881C is visible beneath one of the plates. The boxes for the German series are printed with the title in Gothic script.
