A collection of vintage Le Creuset kitchenware manufactured from enamelled cast iron. The assortment features the signature graduated orange colourway, often referred to as Flame or Volcanic. Included are a large frying pan with a turned wooden handle and metal hanging loop, a round grill skillet with an integral cast handle and side pouring spout, a round casserole pot with a matching lid and black phenolic knob, and two saucepans of graduated sizes. Each saucepan includes a pouring spout, matching lid with a black phenolic knob, and a turned wooden handle with a metal hanging loop. The letters LE CREUSET are cast into the metal handle of the grill skillet.
Condition report:
The collection shows significant evidence of age and frequent culinary use. The interior of the large frying pan is heavily worn with charring, staining, and degradation to the cooking surface. Other pieces exhibit varying degrees of internal staining. There are visible chips to the enamel finish, particularly along the rims, lid edges, and pouring spouts. The wooden handles show wear, thinning of the original varnish, and darkening from heat exposure and handling. The set is offered as found.
