A collection of ten elephant figurines of varying sizes, styles, and materials. The collection includes a large stylized elephant constructed from sheet metal, featuring a hand-painted finish with concentric circular motifs in red, orange, and yellow tones. Also included is a group of porcelain elephants decorated in a Chinoiserie style with cobalt blue saddle blankets and gilt accents to the tusks, saddles, and feet. Further ceramic items include several small elephant calves finished in white with grey and pinkish-brown shaded highlights. The collection is completed by a tall, upright figure in a mottled cream and brown composite material, a brass-finished metal elephant mounted on a rectangular dark wood plinth, and a silver-toned metal figurine mounted on a black oval plinth. No factory marks or signatures are visible on the items.
Condition report:
The collection appears to be in good used condition. The painted metal elephant shows some minor surface wear and patina consistent with age. The porcelain and ceramic figurines appear intact without obvious chips, cracks, or repairs. General surface dust is present, particularly on the bases of the plinth-mounted pieces.
