This lot comprises an assortment of workshop tools and a domestic electronic item. Included are two Stanley RB10 speciality bench planes, designed for use with replaceable blades; one example features a cast maker’s mark to the lever cap, while the other bears an orange and black manufacturer’s label. These planes are constructed with cast metal bodies in a black finish and are fitted with black plastic front knobs and rear totes. The collection also includes a Mac Allister adjustable bench plane and a small unbranded block plane with a chrome-plated lever cap. Accompanying the tools is a Weller General Duty Soldering Iron Kit, 25 Watts and 240 Volts, in its original cardboard box which indicates the presence of a spare tip, soldering aid tool, and solder. The final item is a Dialatron corded desktop telephone with a two-tone beige and grey plastic casing, featuring a push-button keypad and integrated handset.
Condition report:
The Stanley planes show signs of use with surface dust and minor wear to the finishes. The Mac Allister plane exhibits significant surface rust and corrosion to the iron and chip breaker. The small block plane appears to be in fair used condition. The soldering iron kit box is in poor condition, showing heavy crushing, wear, and tears; the internal components are untried and sold as seen. The telephone shows light surface wear consistent with age and remains untested.
