Buyer's Premium:

An assortment of framed artworks comprising four distinct pieces. The primary item is an abstract intaglio print by Friedemann Hahn, featuring a dense, textured central composition in black ink with a single vertical red accent. This work exhibits a visible rectangular plate mark and is hand-signed in pencil at the lower right Friedemann Hahn and dated Juni 69. It is presented in a simple black wooden frame. Accompanying this is a large topographical colour print titled Sketches on the River Tamar, which features several vignettes of the river, including the Royal Albert Bridge and local shipping vessels. This print is double-matted and housed in an ornate gilt wood frame. The group also includes a watercolour painting of a coastal harbour scene depicting quayside buildings and sailing boats, signed at the lower right, possibly Richard Wright. Completing the assortment is a landscape painting, appearing to be oil or acrylic on board, depicting a vast moorland under a blue sky, set within a heavily ornate gilt frame with a fabric-textured mat.

Condition report:

The Friedemann Hahn print is housed in a frame with glazing that is severely cracked diagonally across the centre; the paper exhibits generalized toning consistent with its age. The topographical Tamar print shows minor toning to the paper. The watercolour and landscape painting appear in overall good condition, though all frames in the assortment show typical minor surface wear, scuffing, and small losses to the gilt finish.
