An assortment of decorative and commemorative ceramic plates alongside a piece of pressed glassware. The collection features a group of maritime themed plates decorated with transfer-printed scenes of three-masted sailing vessels after the maritime artist John Stobart, whose printed signature is visible within the artwork. These plates are finished with a wide navy blue border embellished with a cream-coloured knotted rope-twist motif. Commemorative items include a fine china plate for the 2002 Golden Jubilee of Queen Elizabeth II, featuring orange rose borders and central portraits of the monarch. Also included is a plate commemorating the 1986 wedding of Prince Andrew and Sarah Ferguson at Westminster Abbey, and a portrait plate of Queen Elizabeth II in ceremonial dress. A group of earthenware plates with a red transfer-printed rural landscape design depicting a thatched cottage is present. The glassware consists of a clear circular pressed glass divided serving dish, partitioned into sections with a central well and decorated with a repeating sunburst and floral pattern to the base.

Condition report:

The collection is in generally good condition, consistent with display use. There is visible surface dust from storage. Some light rubbing to the gilded rims of the commemorative plates may be present. No significant chips or cracks are visible from an overview inspection.
