Buyer's Premium:

An assortment of vintage and modern ephemera, booklets, and collectibles primarily of UK and European origin. The collection includes a Victorian black leather-bound volume with gilt-stamped cover reading Prize Examination A.D. 18 90 Given by James Peek and the Religious Tract Society to Junior Scholars for Proficiency in Biblical Knowledge. A spiral-bound report titled RNH Stonehouse Plymouth Redevelopment Plan Interim Report, dated June 1988 and produced by the Property Services Agency (PSA) for the Department of the Environment, provides local historical interest. Travel-related items feature a passenger list for The Pharaonic Mail Line S.A.E. for the T.S.S. Mohamed Ali El-Kebir, titled Express Deluxe Service Egypt-Europe in English and Arabic. Soviet interest is represented by Cyrillic theatre and circus tickets and a Moscow Metropol Hotel sticker. Further items include a selection of early-to-mid 20th-century greeting cards and postcards for family occasions, religious bookmarks, and a Ministry of Health Look After Yourself leaflet featuring a cartoon character. A group of embroidered souvenir patches is also present, featuring designs for Liechtenstein, Keukenhof, Semmering, and St. Anton am Arlberg.

Condition report:

The condition of the lot is variable. The late 19th-century prize book exhibits age-toning, edge wear, and scuffing to the leather binding. Mid-century travel documents and postcards show foxing, yellowing, and typical corner wear. The 1988 redevelopment report is in good condition with minor surface marking. Fabric souvenir patches appear well-preserved and unused.
