Buyer's Premium:

This lot comprises a collection of religious devotional items, likely dating to the late 20th century. Included are matte white statuettes, possibly bisque porcelain or resin, representing the Virgin Mary as Our Lady of Grace and the Sacred Heart of Jesus. Also present is a polychrome painted figurine of Saint Francis of Assisi portrayed in a brown friar’s habit and holding birds. The collection features a dark-stained relief plaque, possibly wood or a composite material, with an arched top and the Latin inscription ORA PRO NOBIS at the base. Additionally, there is a printed panel icon of the Virgin Mary and Christ Child (Theotokos) on a wooden panel, featuring an intentional craquelure finish, raised gold-toned halos, and a black-painted frame.

Condition report:

The Virgin Mary statuette shows surface staining, yellowing to the lower half, and minor scuffing with small chips to the edges of the base. The Sacred Heart of Jesus figure is in relatively clean condition. The Saint Francis figurine appears in good overall condition. The relief plaque shows general surface wear and dust consistent with age. The panel icon features an intentional craquelure finish to the central image and shows visible wear with some loss of black paint to the outer edges of the frame.
