A collection of UK and world coins and assorted small items contained within a gold-coloured scalloped metal tin. The numismatic portion primarily comprises UK bronze pennies and other denominations from the early to mid-20th century, including examples from the reigns of George V and George VI with Britannia reverses. The lot includes a small silver-coloured hinged tin, marked internally with a star and a capital R, containing coins in plastic packets. Also present is a vintage blue and yellow Sucrets brand throat lozenge tin, a small blue velvet jewellery box, a worn brown leather coin pouch, and embroidered railway patches including one marked RAILWAY and N. TOTNES.
Condition report:
The coins are in varied circulated condition, generally ranging from good to fine. Significant wear, toning, and surface oxidation are visible across the bronze issues. The storage containers and leather pouch show age-related wear, surface scuffing, and minor corrosion.
