A set of four mid-20th-century side chairs in the Tyrolean or Continental folk style, attributed to Ercol (Model 375). Constructed from dark-stained hardwood, likely featuring elm seats and beech frames, the chairs are designed with a curved top rail over three decoratively pierced vertical splats with stylised floral and fleur-de-lys motifs. The solid wooden seats are contoured and raised on four splayed, tapered legs. This lot includes the chairs only, which are supplied with four circular, detachable seat cushions in light blue fabric, secured with tie-on straps.
Condition report:
The chairs are in good used condition. The timber frames show light surface wear, minor scuffs to the legs, and some thinning of the finish in areas, consistent with age and regular use. The upholstery on the detachable seat cushions shows signs of age and light soiling.
