A diverse assembly of decorative elephant figurines fashioned from clear glass and lead crystal. This extensive group showcases various glassworking methods, including hand-blown, molded, and pressed techniques. The collection features a wide range of artistic interpretations, from small hand-blown miniatures to a substantial, stylized flat-sided ornament with internal texture. Two pieces are accented with gold-toned details on the ears and tusks. The lot also contains a rectangular crystal block featuring an intaglio-etched motif of an elephant and tree, as well as several figurines mounted on mirrored or clear glass bases. No definitive factory marks or signatures were observed.
Condition report:
The items generally appear to be in good display condition, though they show signs of surface dust and would benefit from cleaning. Given the fragility of glass, there is evidence of occasional minor flea-bite chips or nibbles to extremities such as trunks and ears. One large stylized figure displays some yellowish discolouration or old adhesive residue around the base edges.
