This is a wall-hanging corner cupboard dating from the George III period, crafted in mahogany with a bow-fronted design. The single-piece unit features a moulded cornice and a corresponding moulded base. The single curved door is constructed from figured mahogany and is fitted with two brass H-hinges and a small turned brass knob. Two brass hanging eyelets are attached to the upper back edge for wall mounting.
Condition report:
The piece shows signs of age and use consistent with its period. There are surface scratches, small indentations, and wear to the finish, particularly on the top flat surface. The door alignment appears slightly dropped on the left side.
