A collection of two decorative ceramic elephant figures. The taller item is a garden stool or plant stand, featuring a square platform top with a recessed central medallion and scrolling corner motifs. The elephant support is decorated with a caparison in a palette of green, red, and blue over a cream-glazed ground. The second, smaller figure is of a rounded form, densely hand-painted with vibrant, multicoloured swirling and floral patterns in a folk-art style. Both pieces are finished with a glossy glaze and exhibit molded details. The taller stool is characteristic of mid-20th century Hollywood Regency style imports, similar to those produced by Wen Hing Ceramics. No maker marks are visible in the present view.
Condition report:
Both items appear to be in good overall condition. Fine, uniform crazing is visible to the glaze of the larger garden stool, which is consistent with the material and age. No chips, cracks, or visible repairs are noted from the available view.
