Buyer's Premium:

An assortment of 19th and 20th-century ceramics featuring a significant collection of Royal Worcester Evesham pattern tableware. This pattern is characterised by transfer-printed fruit motifs, including apples, plums, grapes, and berries, finished with gilded rims. The Evesham collection includes two lidded tureens, multiple dessert bowls, and coordinating ramekins. The lot also contains a cylindrical advertising stoneware jar for James Keiller and Sons Dundee Marmalade, featuring black transfer-printed text citing prize medals from 1862 and 1873. A comprehensive white porcelain tea service is included, decorated with a gold scrolling border, comprising teacups, saucers, side plates, a cream jug, and a sugar bowl. Utility items include a large brown-glazed stoneware storage jar, a cream and brown mixing bowl, and various white and pale blue glazed earthenware pitchers and jugs. A group of contemporary earthenware mugs with British-themed and floral designs completes the collection.

Condition report:

The collection is in good used condition overall. Rubbing to the gilding is evident on several pieces of the tea service and fruit-decorated bowls, consistent with age and regular use. Some items of utility stoneware and larger white jugs exhibit internal staining and fine surface crazing. No major chips or cracks were observed during visual inspection, though minor edge nicks may be present on the stoneware pieces.
