This lot comprises an assortment of table lamps of various designs and materials. The collection includes a spherical lamp with a white glass body featuring a grey marbleised effect, supported by a polished metal stem and topped with a white plastic bayonet cap bulb holder. Also included is a turned pedestal lamp crafted from banded alabaster or onyx in natural cream and tan shades, featuring a brass bayonet cap bulb holder. A large ceramic spherical lamp with a matte terracotta-toned finish is present, fitted with a white plastic bayonet cap bulb holder. The group is completed by a classical-style brass-finished metal lamp with a fluted columnar stem and a square tiered base with gadrooned moulding. Each lamp is fitted with a standard UK three-pin plug and flex of varying lengths.
Condition report:
All items exhibit signs of use consistent with age. The brass columnar lamp shows surface tarnishing and wear to the plated finish. The terracotta and marbleised lamps display minor surface scuffs and handling marks. The alabaster lamp appears generally good with light surface dust. All electrical components are sold as untested and it is strongly recommended that these items are inspected and PAT tested by a qualified electrician prior to use.
