Estimated price: £3 - £5

Buyer's Premium:

An assortment of items featuring silver-plated hollowware and decorative ceramics. The lot includes a three-piece tea service consisting of a teapot, an open sugar bowl, and a cream jug, all designed in the Edwardian style with gadrooned decoration to the lower sections. The teapot features a curved spout and a hinged lid with a fluted circular finial. A commemorative ceramic plate is included, produced for the 1902 coronation of King Edward VII and Queen Alexandra, decorated with royal portraits, the Royal Coat of Arms, and a scalloped gilded rim. The collection also contains an ovoid-shaped ceramic jar with transfer-printed floral and bird motifs. Additionally, there is a set of graduated ceramic plates with scalloped, gilded edges and wide borders of transfer-printed pink, blue, and yellow flowers over a textured ground.

Condition report:

The silver-plated items show significant tarnish and surface oxidisation consistent with age. The ceramic pieces appear to be in good vintage condition, though there is visible wear to the gilding on the rims and some minor surface marks. No major chips or cracks are evident in the photographs.
