The unit is constructed from a dark grey plastic casing with 49 black and white keys and utilises Pulse Code Modulation (PCM) sound technology. The control panel features sliders for main and accompaniment volume, alongside a variety of buttons for rhythm selection, tone presets, and memory functions including record and start/stop. Printed markings include the Realistic logo and Concertmate-660 on the upper left panel, Pulse Code Modulation on the right, and musical note indicators above the keys. The keyboard is accompanied by its original cardboard retail box with English and Dutch text, a boxed Tandy Universal Mains Adapter, and a tan-coloured protective dust cover.
