An ornate Rococo-revival style oval wall mirror featuring a molded composite frame with a matte gold gilt finish. The frame is decorated with elaborate scrolling acanthus leaves, C-scrolls, and a central shell and foliate crest at the upper and lower points. The oval mirror plate is set within the deep-profile frame. No maker marks, signatures, or labels are present.
Condition report:
The frame is in good overall condition with the gilded finish largely intact and showing only minor surface wear. The mirror plate is clear and functional with some scattered minor surface specks and light pitting consistent with age.
