A pair of vintage side tables or decorative stands executed in the Bohemian or ‘Peacock’ style. Each piece is constructed from rattan and wicker, featuring a circular top with a flat-woven surface over a solid substrate. The cylindrical openwork bases are embellished with intricate bent-rattan scrollwork, concentric circles, and heart-shaped motifs, supported by vertical ribs and a thick circular base rail. These items are characteristic of 1960s and 1970s natural material furniture design.
Condition report:
The tables are in good vintage condition. There is minor surface wear and light dust consistent with age and use. The wickerwork and decorative scroll motifs remain largely intact and structurally sound.
