The fire back features a decorative neoclassical scroll and anthemion motif. The side panels are designed with vertical fluting and accented by decorative floral medallions and scrolls. The assembly includes an integrated five-bar tiered grate and a separate matching ash pan cover with a simple rounded profile. The entire unit is finished in traditional polished graphite giving it a soft metallic sheen.

The insert is in good structural condition with clear casting details. Surface oxidation and light rust are present on the lower elements, specifically the grate bars and the ash pan cover. No cracks or major damage are apparent in the provided image.
