This lot comprises a collection of jewellery and an open-face pocket watch presented in a brown faux-leather jewellery box with a removable multi-compartment tray. The pocket watch features a white enamel dial with black Roman numerals and a subsidiary seconds dial at the 6 o’clock position. The movement is engraved A.W.W. Co. WALTHAM, MASS., 15 JEWELS, and bears the serial number 17352306. The interior of the case back is stamped ILLINOIS WATCH CASE CO. ELGIN U.S.A. and GUARANTEED GIANT 20 YEARS with the serial number 1289248, identifying it as a gold-filled case. The accompanying jewellery consists of a yellow metal fancy link necklace featuring rectangular links with chased foliate decoration, a yellow metal ring with an openwork Celtic-style knot design, a heart-shaped padlock clasp stamped 9CT SA, and a two-piece yellow metal mesh watch strap.
