A circular openwork pendant crafted in 9 carat yellow gold(3.38g)The central feature is a round faceted purple gemstone, identified as an amethyst, measuring approximately 6mm to 7mm in diameter. This stone is held in a claw setting and is surrounded by an intricate scrolling wirework filigree border. Four small round faceted clear gemstones are set at the cardinal points of the inner border as accents. The outer circumference of the circular mount is finished with a twisted rope-work motif, a decorative detail which is also present on the tapered bail. The side of the bail is stamped with the hallmark 375, confirming the item is 9 carat gold.
Condition report:
The pendant is in good overall condition. Light surface scratches and minor wear are present on the gold surfaces, commensurate with age and use. All gemstones are present and appear securely set. The filigree wirework is intact with no visible breaks, distortions, or repairs.
