This lot comprises a collection of assorted flatware. The flatware features a mix of boxed and loose items in silver-plated and stainless steel finishes. Included is a set of silver-plated pastry forks by Arthur Price of England in the Harley pattern, housed in the original presentation box with a manufacturer label and 20-year guarantee.
The collection also contains a wooden canteen tray holding table knives with wooden handles and stainless steel blades, alongside silver-plated spoons and forks in Fiddle and Old English patterns. A two-compartment wooden box contains a large quantity of mixed flatware, including table and dessert forks, soup and dessert spoons, and various serving utensils. Further items include ornate teaspoons with filigree-style handles, a pair of sugar tongs, and a preserve spoon with a scalloped bowl and yellow celluloid-style handle. A large silver-plated serving spoon is also present. The items are stored upon a single grey metal utility shelf. Materials include electroplated nickel silver (EPNS), stainless steel, wood, and celluloid. The Arthur Price set is marked; other pieces carry varied manufacturer marks that are not clearly legible.
Condition report:
The items are in used condition with signs of age and wear. Most silver-plated pieces exhibit heavy tarnish and require polishing. The wooden canteen tray and boxes show surface scuffing and wear. The pastry fork box has minor shelf wear.
