Buyer's Premium:

This collection consists of thirteen hand-painted miniature architectural models from the David Winter Cottages range, sculpted by David Winter and manufactured by John Hine Ltd. in Hampshire, Great Britain. Each piece is crafted from cold-cast resin, featuring intricate detailing of traditional British stonework, thatch, and timber-framing. The identified models include the Hogs Head Beer House (1985), Pilgrims Rest (1983), The Dower House, Shirehall (1985), Ivy Cottage, The Bakehouse (1983), Craftsmens Cottage, Meadow Bank Cottage (1985), Moorland Cottage (1982), Village Shop, Windmill (1985), and Sussex Cottage. A tall, four-storey townhouse is also included, which remains unmarked on the base. Most pieces feature identifying printed labels on the felt bases, often including a Union Jack emblem and a crown workshop mark. The lot is accompanied by a hardback edition of David Winter Cottages: The Collectors Book and two informational paper inserts from the Heart of England Series for The Shirehall and The Windmill.

Shirehall: Height 3 inches, Length 3 1/2 inches, Weight 8 oz
Windmill: Height 3 1/4 inches, Length 2 1/2 inches, Weight 160 grams.

Condition report:

The collection is in good overall condition. There are no chips, cracks, or repairs visible to the primary resin structures. The felt pads on the bases show varying degrees of minor shelf wear. One piece, the tall townhouse, is missing its original identification label. Delicate features such as chimneys and the windmill sails appear to be intact.
