A varied collection of glassware and lead crystal. The lot predominantly consists of lead crystal stemware, including wine glasses, sherry glasses, and champagne flutes, featuring deep diamond and wedge-cut patterns in the style of Waterford Lismore. The collection includes a large inverted blue glass vase decorated with vertical ribbing and diamond-cut motifs, and two large clear tumblers featuring hand-painted enamelled rosebuds, green foliage, and red berries. Also present are two decorative glass paperweights, one with a red and yellow internal floral design and the other with a blue and pink abstract swirl. A small circular cut-glass coaster is included, which bears a retail label for Lloyd’s.
Condition report:
The collection is in generally good condition with the crystal items exhibiting high clarity and no visible glass sickness. Minor surface wear is present, consistent with age and use. As several items are stored rim-down, there is a possibility of minor flea-bite chips to the rims or bases, though no significant cracks or large chips were observed during inspection.
