An assortment of 20th-century decorative and table glassware featuring various forms, colours, and techniques. The collection includes a four-piece vanity set in amber-coloured pressed glass, comprising a rectangular tray with a moulded geometric sunburst pattern, a circular ashtray, a round lidded pot, and a square lidded box with vertical ribbing. A prominent item is a large cobalt blue pressed glass centrepiece bowl with a deep well, scalloped rim, and panelled sides, in a style similar to mid-century manufacturers such as Anchor Hocking. Stemware includes two ruby red glass tumblers on clear bases and a set of clear wine glasses with polychrome feather-like motifs in red, blue, yellow, and black. A group of small clear glass bowls features red bands with gilt-stamped foliate patterns. Decorative glass includes a blue and white swirled glass vase, a clear glass swan figurine, a small coloured glass bird, and a hexagonal paperweight containing a floral inclusion. The lot also includes a gold-toned model of St. Peter’s Basilica.
Condition report:
The collection is in good overall condition. Minor surface wear, light scratches, and potential small nicks to the edges of the pressed glass items are consistent with age and use. No significant cracks or major structural damage are visible from external inspection. The architectural model shows minor surface tarnishing.
