A collection of three clocks comprising a mid-20th-century Metamec mantel clock, a Caithness Glass paperweight clock, and a turned wood desk clock. The Metamec clock is constructed with a rectangular brass-tone metal frame and a pearlescent acetate front panel. Its two-tone dial features a gold-coloured outer ring with white Arabic numerals and a black centre with white markers, equipped with brass-coloured hands and a red second hand. The reverse is fitted with a German-made U.T.S. quartz movement and retains a Metamec label. The Caithness Glass clock consists of a faceted glass block with green and yellow swirls housing a white dial with Roman numerals. The third clock is a hand-turned wooden cylinder with an angled face and a white dial featuring Roman numerals and a Japanese quartz movement.
Condition report:
The Metamec clock back panel exhibits staining, and the movement is held in place with adhesive putty. The glass and wooden clocks show light surface wear and minor scuffing. All clocks are battery-operated quartz movements and remain untested for working order.
