An assortment of framed pictures and decorative items featuring various subjects and mediums. The collection includes a vertical floral print signed Pamela Gladding to the lower centre, depicting light-coloured orchids against a textured red background, housed in a gold-toned molded frame with a cream mat. Also present is a horizontal railway print by C. Hamilton Ellis, inscribed with the title L.N.W.R. northbound tourist express near Brinklow and TRAVEL IN 1875, depicting a steam locomotive beside a canal with a narrowboat. The group includes two cityscapes of historic harbour fronts, one bearing the signature K.W. Burton, and a small wildlife print depicting badgers. Decorative additions comprise a wooden souvenir plaque from Tombstone, Arizona, featuring a small photograph and a metal relief sculpture of a bucking horse and rider, and two small decorative glass panes depicting underwater scenes with a sea turtle and fish. Condition report:
The frames show various degrees of surface wear and minor scuffing. Significant staining and discolouration are visible on the surrounding wall and backing boards, suggesting exposure to moisture or high humidity which may have caused foxing or undulation to the paper supports. The prints appear generally stable within their frames. The decorative glass panes and souvenir plaque show minor surface dust and light wear consistent with age.
