A large rectangular wall mirror dating from the late 20th century. The mirror plate is set within a substantial wooden frame finished with a high-gloss mahogany or cherry stain. The frame features a traditional stepped and multi-moulded profile. The reverse of the piece is fitted with a hardboard backing and includes a wire for horizontal wall hanging attached to metal eyelets. The design and finish are in the style of high-quality furniture makers such as Henkel Harris.
Condition report:
The mirror is in good overall condition, showing minor surface wear and light scuffing to the frame consistent with age and domestic use. The mirror plate is clear and free from significant foxing or loss of silvering.
