The composition is highly abstracted, featuring a central dark vessel form amidst a flurry of gestural, hatched strokes in a palette of earthy oranges, greens, and browns. The work is signed to the lower right in a lime green medium and dated in the same medium to the lower left. The drawing is housed in a gilt wood frame with a wide brown card mount. A modern adhesive label on the glazing identifies the artist as Leonard Bennett. The work has not been examined out of the frame.
