A nest of three graduated side tables dating to the 1970s, produced in the United Kingdom. The frames are constructed from teak and feature rectangular-frame sled-style legs connected by lower stretchers. Each table is inset with a tiled top; the largest table features a four-tile configuration, while the medium and smallest tables each feature two tiles. The tiles are decorated with a stylized floral motif in earthy tones of brown, tan, and ochre. The leg frames are joined with visible circular bolt caps. No maker’s marks or labels are visible. This design is highly characteristic of British furniture manufacturers from the period such as Nathan Furniture or G-Plan.
Condition report:
The set is in good vintage condition showing signs of age-appropriate wear. Visible surface scratches and minor scuffs are present on the teak frames, particularly on the top edges and legs. The tiled surfaces appear to be well-preserved with no obvious cracks, chips, or missing grout.
