This lot comprises a collection of vintage construction toys and board games, primarily of British manufacture. The group features a Meccano Highway Vehicles Set No. 3, produced by Meccano Limited, Binns Road, Liverpool, England. This set is housed in its original pictorial cardboard box and contains an internal tray with various painted perforated steel strips and plates in yellow, red, and blue, along with rubber tyres and metal wheels. Documentation includes a Highway Vehicles instruction manual, a Meccano 0-1 manual, and a Meccano Elektrikit booklet.
Included is an additional bulk collection of loose vintage Meccano components contained within a dark-painted wooden utility chest with a hinged lid. This assortment features painted steel parts in red, green, blue, and zinc finishes, accompanied by an instruction manual.
The collection also contains several vintage board games: a Monopoly property trading board game by John Waddington Ltd., London and Leeds; a Waddington’s Risk! game; The Game of Life; and a Spear’s Games De Luxe edition of Ludo and Snakes & Ladders by J.W. Spear & Sons Ltd. Also present is a Walt Disney’s Ministeck Mosaik set featuring Mickey Mouse and Donald Duck, manufactured in Western Germany as a Pretofix product.
