Buyer's Premium:

This collection of seventeen miniature models is produced by Royal Hampshire (Makers of Fine Art Miniatures). The group consists of three steam locomotives, thirteen vintage and classic motor vehicles, and one military figure. Each piece is constructed from cast pewter with a natural matte grey finish and an aged patina.

The three locomotives are mounted on integral track-style plinths with felt-lined undersides. Gold-tone text on the plinths identifies them as the LNER Class A4 The Mallard (numbered 4468), the LNER Class A3 The Flying Scotsman (numbered 4472), and the BR Class 9F Evening Star (numbered 92220).

The thirteen motor vehicles represent various historic marques. The undersides of these models feature a maker’s mark consisting of a small crown symbol above a stylised lowercase m. Models identified by cast text on the undersides include a 1904 Wolseley, 1909 Rolls-Royce Silver Ghost, 1924 Vauxhall, 1925 Bullnose Morris, 1929 Brooklands Riley 9, 1930 Bentley Barnato, 1931 Daimler Double-Six, 1934 Austin 7, 1936 Alvis Speed 25, 1936 Jaguar SS/100, 1937 Lagonda Rapide, and a 1948 MG-TC, along with one further unverified vintage car.

The military figure depicts a soldier in mid-20th-century combat gear, appearing to be a paratrooper or commando, holding a rifle. The circular base features an embossed insignia with the text Royal Marines at the bottom. These items are static display miniatures without moving parts.

Condition report:

The models appear to be in good overall condition. They exhibit a consistent aged patina characteristic of the metal. All components appear complete with no obvious damage, missing parts, or repairs noted. No original packaging or certificates are present.
