A Jaycee reproduction oak hall cabinet and matching wall mirror, manufactured in England. The base unit features a pair of cupboard doors, each decorated with a relief-carved foliate and floral panel, alongside a single drawer with notched moulding to the front. The cabinet is constructed from oak with a dark finish and is raised on turned wooden supports above a solid lower shelf. It is fitted with antiqued metal H-hinges and circular drop ring handles. The cupboard opens to reveal a single undivided storage compartment. The matching vertical wall mirror is set within an oak frame, featuring a matching carved floral panel to the side and a moulded pediment. The reverse of the mirror bears several original labels, including a manufacturer label for JAYCEE Made in England, a quality control label with the number 9063 and a Final Inspector stamp, and a delivery slip for a dresser base.
Condition report:
The items are in good used condition. The oak frames and cabinet show minor surface wear and small marks consistent with age and use. The mirror glass is clear and shows no visible signs of desilvering. All hardware is present and functional.
