A set of four graduated nesting tables constructed from a dense hardwood with a warm reddish-brown finish. Each table is designed with a rectangular top featuring mitred corners and a flush-panel inset. The apron on all four sides of each table is decorated with detailed openwork carving portraying pairs of traditional Chinese dragons among stylized clouds. The tables are supported by square-section legs that terminate in modified horse-hoof feet, joined by a rectangular peripheral stretcher at the base. No manufacturer marks or labels are visible on the pieces. These tables are attributed to the mid to late 20th century, likely produced in Hong Kong or mainland China for the export market.
