Buyer's Premium:

This assortment includes glazed ceramic garden vessels of varying styles and periods. A large urn of neoclassical form is finished in a white glaze, featuring a wide flaring rim and a body decorated with relief-moulded grapevine and fruit cluster motifs. The vessel terminates in a gadrooned lower section resting on a short pedestal with a square plinth base. The collection also features stoneware planters finished in a dark brown glaze, displaying incised and relief-moulded stylized dragon motifs with scrolling wave borders encircling the upper rims, in the style of Southeast Asian Martaban jars. Additionally, there is a cylindrical planter decorated with an all-over cobalt blue floral and foliate transfer-printed pattern on a white ground, featuring a brown-glazed rim and a central drainage hole in the base. No maker’s marks are visible on the exterior or interior of any of the items.

Condition report:

The white neoclassical urn displays general surface wear and minor marks consistent with age and use. The brown-glazed dragon planters show minor chips and abrasions to the rims along with typical kiln-firing imperfections and surface wear. The blue and white floral planter appears in good exterior condition, while the interior shows significant mineral staining and residue from previous use.
