An assortment of vintage and modern workshop tools and accessories. The collection includes a Record No 04 1/2 woodworking bench plane featuring a cast iron body, wooden tote, and front knob. The plane is cast with the maker name Record and England on the base, with the model number 04 1/2 behind the front knob. Included is a Yankee No 130A spiral ratchet screwdriver of the quick return style, housed in its original yellow cardboard box. The lot also contains a Rawlplug Tuf Rivet Kit (Cat No 15-150) in its original red packaging, which includes a blue and orange pop rivet gun. A small, bench-mounted combination vice and anvil is present, featuring a screw-driven mechanism with a tommy bar and a mounting flange for workshop attachment. Additional items comprise a rectangular sharpening stone set into a wooden base, an 8-piece set of masonry drill bits in a plastic retail case, and a heavily rusted rectangular metal storage tin with a hinged lid.
Condition report:
The vintage metal components, specifically the Record plane and the bench vice, show advanced surface oxidation and heavy rust throughout. The wooden handles on the plane exhibit wear and loss of finish. Original cardboard packaging for the Yankee screwdriver and the rivet kit is in poor condition with significant tearing, staining, and crushing. The modern drill bit set remains in its plastic casing. All items show signs of long-term storage and use; mechanical components are untested.
