A collection of six (6) vintage Matchbox Models of Yesteryear die-cast model vehicles. The group includes various delivery and service vehicles: an H.J. Heinz Co. Ltd. delivery van in white and green livery, a Carnation Milk delivery van in cream and maroon livery, a Chinnor Portland Cement truck in yellow livery, an orange service truck, a black vintage saloon car, and a dark-coloured delivery van. Each vehicle is constructed from die-cast metal with plastic components and is housed in its original manufacturer-branded window box. The headers and window surrounds feature the Matchbox logo and Models of Yesteryear series title. Included in the lot is a deck of playing cards in a clear plastic case featuring a Spanish dancer and a figure in traditional attire, and a vintage Casino 300 cardboard box.
Condition report:
The vehicles appear to be in good condition within their packaging. The boxes exhibit varying degrees of shelf wear, including creasing and corner rubbing. There is significant yellowing and discolouration to the plastic display windows. The Casino 300 cardboard box shows substantial wear, staining, and tearing.
