An assortment of vintage and contemporary items comprising a set of wall-mounted theatre glasses, two travel clocks, antique opera glasses, a compact camera, and various small collectables. The theatre glasses are finished in a maroon colour and fixed to a rectangular wooden base with a metal bracket; the body features white lettering for U.A.D.C. Ltd of Temple Chambers, E.C.4, along with instructions to replace the item and not to remove it. The collection includes two folding travel alarm clocks: one marked Europa with a white dial and gold-tone bezel, and another by Westclox with a silvered dial and chrome-tone bezel, both housed in black faux-leather cases. A pair of antique brass opera glasses shows heavy oxidation and green verdigris. Photographic equipment includes a grey Kodak Advantix 3400 AF camera with its original black soft case. Additional pieces consist of a metal bottle opener with an orange handle inscribed with compliments from Peggy and Jack Ellis, a cast brass ornament of a smooth-haired fox terrier, a metal pendulum weight, and a contemporary solar-powered fountain pump in its original cardboard packaging. A separate large black textured case with a red lining and silver-tone clasp is also included.
Condition report:
The items exhibit varying degrees of age-related wear. The theatre glasses show surface scuffs and minor wear to the wooden base. The travel clocks and camera appear externally sound but are untested for functionality. The antique opera glasses display significant surface corrosion and oxidation. The bottle opener shows some rust spotting to the exposed metal. The solar pump box shows minor shelf wear and crushing to the corners.
