A wide contemporary chest of eight drawers in a country pine style. The piece is configured with two vertical banks of four drawers each. The left-hand bank features wider drawers, each fitted with two turned wooden pull knobs. The right-hand bank contains narrower drawers, each with a single central turned wooden pull knob. The chest is constructed from knotty pine with a clear satin lacquer finish, displaying prominent natural knots and grain patterns throughout. It is designed with a moulded plinth base supported by four turned bun feet.
Condition report:
The chest is in good functional condition. There is minor surface wear and light scuffing to the finish consistent with previous domestic use. No major structural damage or losses are visible.
